The countdown is on! On Saturday, October 25, the Gympie Turf Club is turning it on for one of the biggest race days of the year – the Brown, Macaulay & Warren Chartered Accountants Gympie Cup.
With a proud history stretching over 155 years, this race day promises something for everyone. The headline event, the iconic Gympie Cup, will be run over the mile and is a key qualifier for the prestigious Country Cups challenge, which is expected to draw strong competition from across South-East Queensland.
This year, Fashions on the Field will take center stage alongside the racing action, with the club offering $2000 in cash prizes and vouchers across five categories. Guest judges Geri Mayall & Lon Gray are set to crown the region’s most stylish racegoers, so fashion enthusiasts are encouraged to bring their best race-day attire.

With trackside marquees perfect for larger groups and premium dining in the exclusive Champions Bar, the Gympie Turf Club proudly hosts eight race days from March to November — with the Gympie Cup standing out as the crown jewel of the season.
And once the final race is run, the party’s just getting started. We’ll have live band OLCrow keeping the good times rolling well into the evening — it’s the kind of race day that will be talked about long after the gates close.
