Ladies Day sure lived up to it’s namesake!
This year, we were thrilled to host a Ladies day Luncheon and Pop up Cocktail Bar along side our 5 race card, fashions on the field and live band after party with Code3Eleven.
We welcomed Lisa Curry to the Gympie Turf Club as guest speaker for our Luncheon. A fantastic event, seeing guests treated to a luxurious lunch and inspiring, in-depth chat with Lisa.
On the track, it was almost a clean sweep for the ladies with 4 out of 5 races being won by female Jockeys and the winners of the first 2 races being trained by female Trainers in Debra Corbett & Emma Hargrave. A highlight of the day and a credit to all women in racing.
We must give a big shout out to our 100 Club Members, The Dolly & Oats who helped us in providing a pop-up cocktail bar for all attendees to enjoy on Ladies Day. This was a very popular addition to our Bill Bishop Building and we hope we can bring together more exclusive additions like this to future race days.
